Women's Soccer Takes Part in Annual Autism Walk

Members of the Buena Vista women's soccer team took part in the annual Autism Walk, hosted by Faith, Hope and Charity on Friday, April 20.  The event takes place to help further promote Autism Awareness.

The team, which also took part in the event a year ago, walked along the campus of Faith, Hope and Charity with families, friends and other supporters for approximately 45 minutes.  Prior to the start of the walk, several blue balloons were released into the air to kick-of the event.

"We are always extremely proud to be a part of this event and its cause," said head coach Tony Tommasi.

Faith, Hope and Charity, in conjunction with the Riesenberg Family and Storm Lake Radio, have sponsored Choose Blue: For Autism Awareness and Advocacy during the month of April.
