Van Zuiden Earns Honorable Mention All-IIAC Volleyball Honors

Buena Vista sophomore outside hitter Kirsten Van Zuiden was recognized for her play on the volleyball court this season by earning Honorable Mention All-IIAC Volleyball honors as announced by the league office on Friday.

She finished the season with 311 kills and ranked fourth overall in kills per set at 3.05.  She was also amongst the league leaders for the year in ace serves, averaging 0.37, and ranking fourth, while also ranking fourth in total points per set (3.70).

During conference play, she tied for second in ace serves per set and 10th in kills per set, while ranking sixth in total points per set.

A native of Carroll, Iowa, Van Zuiden now has 664 kills in her career.
