The F.C. Tucker scholarship is a $1500.00 award to the student who best demonstrates the values and principles that we consider crucial to running a successful business. In order to win the scholarship, students will have to demonstrate their personal values through an essay and attached personal statement.
While students who have a history of active involvement in leadership positions or the community will be at an advantage, all eligible students are encouraged to apply. The winner will be chosen based on the quality of their personal essay and the character reflected in their personal statement.

The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is proud to continue the Health Care Careers Scholarship program for the ninth year. Available through the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, these scholarships of up to $6,000 ($3,000 per year for a maximum of two years) each have supported higher education for 296 Iowa college students.
The ultimate goal of this program is to fill Iowa health care positions that currently have a notable number of openings by offering significant financial support to students seeking health care education or training. In exchange for that financial support, each award recipient must commit to working one year in an Iowa hospital for each year of scholarship award.

Emmy Scholarships worth $2,500 each!!! Since 1990, we have presented 60 scholarships worth $125,500. We offer scholarships for high school seniors and college students who have completed at least two years of school and are majoring in video media, journalism or communications. The application deadline is February 1st, 2014 so students have plenty of time to apply.
The 2014 Upper Midwest Regional Student Production Awards for high school & college students!!! Entries ARE NOW OPEN to allow extra time for winter breaks. Seniors who graduated last spring, who produced material in the spring/summer semesters last school year can enter that material!
There are 21 categories for everything from newscast, PSAs & commercials, fiction & non-fiction, music video to craft categories like talent, writing, photography, editing and graphics/special effects!
The deadline to enter the Student Production Awards is January 27th, 2014. There is a $30 fee per-entry. All entry materials videos will be uploaded online. We will hold the 2014 Upper Midwest Regional Student Production Awards at Noon on Sunday March 30th, 2014 at the Great Room in Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Designed to provide financial assistance for students pursuing higher education in the field of agriculture. Five $1,000 scholarships will be available to full time students in pursuit of agricultural curriculum. Applicants must be a MaxYield Cooperative client or the dependent of a MaxYield Cooperative client. Applications are available in the Office of Financial Assistance and are due by March 1, 2014.

Yankton College closed its doors in 1984, but still maintains its missions as a non-profit organization, awarding scholarships and supporting educational opportunities. With that in mind, awards are available to students that have a family relationship to Yankton College alumni, former faculty or staff, or a family friend, teacher or pastor with a YC connection recommendation. The Alice Barton Scholarship Program grants scholarships to survivors of domestic violence to help them achieve economic independence. Giva, Inc., a technology company located in Silicon Valley, is excited to offer its annual $1,000 student scholarship! Giva's corporate student scholarship and grant award is for anyone attending a college or university and is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students further their education. There is no specific course of study or major required.
Eligibility: All students, regardless of major, currently attending a college or university degree program either full or part-time are eligible and encouraged to apply. The award is for school tuition so the scholarship check will be written out to the student's educational institution. Giva employees, family relatives and vendors are not eligible.
Requirements: All eligible students will be required to compose a thoughtful essay between 500 – 1,000 words answering the question: “How will you use your talents and education to make the world a better place for future generations? What are your career and personal goals and why?” Award winners are required to perform some community service volunteer work.

The Robert D. Blue scholarship is made possible by the Iowa Centennial Memorial Foundation. Any Iowa student who plans to attend an Iowa college or university is eligible for this award. ASCO Numatics, the world's leading manufacturer of comprehensive fluid automation, flow control, and pneumatics solutions, is proud to announce the beginning of the 2012/2013 scholarship application period. We will award two $5,000 merit-based scholarships to U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. The Siouxland Professional Women's Network is pleased to again announce a $1,000 scholarship opportunity for a non-traditional Siouxland woman planning to attend college in 2011-12. Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation Scholarships are available in amounts up to $6,000 ($3,000 a year for a maximum of two years). In 2010, thirty-one $3,000 scholarships were awarded.
The goal of this program is to fill healthcare positions that currently have a significant number of openings across Iowa. Selected students must be willing to commit to working one year in an Iowa hospital. This is a LOAN program available to Iowa residents and may be extended to out-of-state students attending an Iowa college/university. Applicants must show financial need and have completed at least one year of college. A transcript must be submitted to show evidence of further academic success (sophomores must have a 2.75 CGPA and juniors, seniors and graduate students must have a 2.5 CGPA. Three character references need to be submitted as well. Student may borrow up to $2000/year up to an aggregate total of $6,000. Principal payments need not be made until the loan recipient's education is completed or discontinued. Current interest rate is 6% per year and payments should be made in semi-annual installments.
