“I wouldn’t have the career I have now had it not been for the brilliant professors at BVU. They saw my potential and truly shaped my career in academia. I will never be able to repay them for their wisdom that I recall every day in coursework, in practice, and in establishing myself as a researcher and academic. I hope I can have the type of impact on my students that they have had in my development. I owe so much to BVU because the faculty care about students and establishing life learners.”

“The social work program at Buena Vista University helped prepare me for my career by providing a well-rounded education. In the social work field, we work with a wide variety of people and need to know how to best work with these people. At BVU, not one population is focused on, but instead the program prepares students to work with many different populations. BVU social work students graduate with a minimum of 600 hours of hands-on field experience plus many other opportunities for volunteer work.”
