Why do people live how they live? And what can be done to address their problems? Sociology seeks to understand how people behavior in groups, applying critical and empirical methods to analyze human behavior and attitudes. The sociology minor encourages you to look at your role in culture through courses in topics related to social work, psychology, criminal justice and criminology. The minor makes an excellent supplement to careers in human services, personnel management, law enforcement, public relations, and business.
