Your expectations are high for the Buena Vista University School of Science. At the School of Science, our expectations are high, too. We believe you can be a great scientist, programmer, mathematician or teacher. We'll help by providing a challenging and exciting curriculum, together with close faculty mentoring and strong support to help you succeed.
The School provides the programs, facilities and equipment you would expect from a larger institution, combined with the freedom to utilize these resources without having to compete for them with a large student body. You'll learn from exceptional professors with a wide variety of academic backgrounds, from organic chemistry to freshwater ecology to robotics and more. An amazing eight professors from the School have won the Wythe Award, the University's highest honor for teaching excellence. You will work closely with them in the School's 18 laboratories and three research areas, all of which are used for teaching and student work. On some projects, you might even team up with researchers from premier science institutions around the world.
Discoveries are made all the time. At the School of Science, it's your turn.
