- Gender and Women's Studies Minor

Socially speaking, what does it mean to be a woman? How has what is considered ‘feminine’ changed throughout history? What can be done to address inequality today?
The interdisciplinary women’s studies program explores the construction and representation of gender, race, class, and sexuality through courses in social work, philosophy, literature and theatre. As a student, you’ll also explore the perspectives of women and other traditionally marginalized groups, examining ignored and suppressed contributions to knowledge, history, and culture.
