Exercise Science - Health Education

Health goes beyond physical education – it concerns many aspects of how we live and how we eat, involving social, psychological and economic issues as well as nutritional ones. The health education minor helps qualify you to teach elementary, middle, and high school health courses. If you want to become a coach or physical education teacher, the minor can help you develop skills to better promote healthy living through your athletics curriculum.
