Dr. Goodfriend is the Principal Investigator for the Institute for the Prevention of Relationship Violence, a national organization dedicated to education and prevention of relationship violence in a variety of forms (including child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and elder abuse). She is the co-author of the book “Voices of Hope: Breaking the Silence of Relationship Violence.” She has also published over 15 book chapters and over 35 journal articles on her research. Dr. Goodfriend has received the Wythe Award for Excellence in Teaching.
