Ivy Garmon

Ivy is an experienced public school special educator who has worked across all grade levels with both low and high incidence disabilities. She currently is an Instructional Strategist at Mount Pleasant Community Middle School. She also has served as a Teacher Mentor, Department Data Team Leader, and as a member of many teams, including the Response to Intervention (RTI) Data team, Facility Advisement Team, School in Need of Assistance (SINA) Committee, Inclusion Team, Tier II Positive Behavioral Intervention (PBIS) Team, and District Special Education Service Delivery Plan Committee. She is a member of the American Council on Rural Special Education (ACRES) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
