Worked 19 state semi-final games and many earlier rounds of state championship games for the Iowa High School Association.

Was a student at Buena Vista College when Old Main burned. Started college with my two brothers. We were all freshmen in the fall of 1956. Lettered 10 times at Buena Vista in football, basketball and baseball. Was leading hitter 3 of my four years in baseball at BV. We went to the first baseball national tournament. In the BV Hall of Fame and the state football officials hall of fame.
