BASc Applied Management Major

Undergraduate Major - 60 Credit Hours
Classes start every 8 weeks.

BVU’s applied management major is designed to provide a quicker solution to desired job advancement by weaving in only the necessary general education courses. The remainder of the subject matter emphasizes strong business, management, communication and public policy strategies to achieve organizational objectives in preparation for a leadership role.

Program Description:

Many individuals with an associate of applied science (AAS) degree find it difficult to be a viable candidate for promotions or leadership level jobs because they lack a bachelor’s degree. Yet, most AAS degrees include fewer general education requirements than associate of art’s degrees making the road to a traditional bachelor’s degree lengthier than it needs to be. BVU’s applied management major is designed to provide a quicker solution to desired job advancement by weaving in only the necessary general education courses. The program is an interdisciplinary format that allows students to develop strong business, leadership and communication skills that will prepare them for a wide variety of career options.
