Truffaldino is a servant who decides to go into service with two different masters, but has no idea of the confusion and heartbreak that will ensue. But, since Truffaldino is a resourceful fellow, his determination and good will lead to love restored for those who had lost it. And to sweeten the plot, Truffaldino finds his own true love in a happily ever after ending.
The play was presented in the masked Italian theatre style of Commedia dell'Arte.
