
Rules
Who can enter?
All contestants must be juniors or seniors in high school. Multiple people can create a project together; however, when submitting, please only submit under one group member’s name. This representative will serve as the sole contact for the entry. If the group project is selected for an award, only one award will be given.
Individuals may enter once per category.
What tools can be used in creating media?
All entrees must be digitally crafted. All computer programs are allowed to be used in the creation of the media. If it’s digital, it is allowed.
What NOT to do.
• Do NOT use copyrighted material; all entries containing plagiarized material will be disqualified.
• Do NOT use vulgar, crude, or defamatory language or subjects.
• Do NOT use people in your projects who have not given you their consent.
Submission
All entries must be placed on a public host site (Youtube, Vimeo, Flickr, Sound Cloud..etc.) so that the link can be placed in the submission form.
All entries must be accompanied by a completed copy of the submission form by November 1, 2012.

Awards
For each of the six categories (Static Photography, Slideshow Photography..etc.), there will be one winner selected. This winner will receive a trophy.
From each of the three overall classes (photography, audio, video), there will be one winner selected. This winner of each will receive a $2,000 scholarship to Buena Vista University.
In addition to these awards, the judges will select a Digital Media Master (DMM) who will also be awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Buena Vista University.
**Winners cannot be double awarded and will only win once**
