How much do you know about Buena Vista University?  How did the mascot come to be the “Beavers”? What 1956 event nearly caused Buena Vista to close its doors? Why should freshman be thankful they don’t have to wear beanies?  What items were offered to faculty in the 1930’s in place of their salaries?  What does your tuition pay for? What is the endowment and how is it used?  How was BVU molded into the University where you live and learn today? All of these questions and more will be answered in this multi-media presentation showcasing the history and traditions of BVU.
