Biology Research Experience Meeting

Monday night, October 8 at 7 pm in SC-125 is the meeting for all biology majors who have not yet taken a research experience course (BIOL200-300-400) and are sophomores, juniors or transfer students. First year students do not need to attend this meeting unless they are planning on graduating in 3 years or less. At this meeting, students will be introduced to the BIOL200 course expectations and will have the opportunity to learn about ongoing student research projects and to provide a prioritized list of the research groups they would like to join to carry out their required research. Students who attend the meeting will be given priority in the research group selection process. If you are unsure about whether or not you need to attend, please speak with a biology professor. If you do need to attend the meeting but and are unable to do so, please contact Dr. James Hampton via email at Hampton@bvu.edu to ensure that you get assigned to a BIOL200 research group for the spring semester of 2013.
