Join Iowa Campus Compact and the BVU campus community October 1 from 1pm-3pm in Dows Conference Center for a presentation from Dr. Larry Braskamp. Dr. Braskamp’s presentation will be titled “The Crucible Moment”: Implications for Iowa Colleges and Universities. He is known worldwide for his work in higher education, but specifically civic engagement. He will be discussing a report released by the White House and several partners that discusses the implications of service and civic responsibility at colleges and universities. Dr. Braskamp and his organization GPI played a large role in developing this document.
